My love for flowers stems from my connection with nature. Being outdoors is my favorite way to spend time, whether it's camping, hiking, or simply sitting outside. As a child, I would create wildflower bouquets for my mom, who graciously accepted them with a smile. Flowers help form many smiles!
Flowers can lift your mood and calm your nerves! When I got my first "grown-up job" as a four-star hotel manager, I used gardening to channel my anxiety and stress. I would often show up at my parents' house with a ton of flowers to plant. After hours of getting my hands dirty, I would smile as I handed my mom the receipt, and she would kindly cover the expense. Gardening became my best therapy, and my mom's flower garden turned out beautifully!
Flowers have always been a part of my life. My wonderful husband would bring me bouquets, and I would quickly divide the flowers, placing them in every room of the house. This way, I ensured that our home was filled with beauty and joy. By creating small arrangements in each room, I spread happiness throughout our space. As a fun fact, we gave away California poppy and lupine seeds as wedding favors!
As I prepare to become an empty nester, I am excited to pursue my dream of growing beautiful flowers to share with my community. I look forward to getting to know you soon! Please take a moment to check out the flower subscription section. Locally grown flowers make the best gifts.
